Whose great idea was it to turn 40 during a PANDEMIC? Honestly, what a shitty roll of the dice. While (post pandemic), all of my friends were swanning around the world on epic birthday celebration trips (many of which I even PLANNED FOR THEM), I was too busy double masking for my Costco trip and then most likely wiping the outsides of my groceries with bleach. So to celebrate 45, I was going to tick off one of my bucket list items and go gorilla trekking.
